Education Credits
Training hours from the Professional Development Seminar can be applied to the re-certification requirements of the Missouri Division of Fire Safety Fire Investigator Certification program. A total of 12 Hours will be held. Attendance will be monitored and is required to receive a certificate for these hours.
Selected hours from this Professional Development Seminar can also be applied to the continuing education requirements for peace officer certification in Missouri. The Missouri Division of Fire Safety is an approved POST provider and is cosponsoring this conference.
Conference
The Association’s primary activities involve fire and fraud investigator training. Each year PFFIA hosts a statewide conference to provide continuing education for investigators. Hours from our seminars can be applied for re-certification to those investigators certified by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.

Fire Investigator Certification
The Association also contracts with the Division of Fire Safety to provide the state’s 40-hour Fire Investigator Course required for eligibility to take the state’s Fire Investigator Certification test.
